The Sleeve Hearted SonnetHow can two wonderful things hurt so much?  My heart was so safe, my head was quite sane,  Before I let myself start loving you.  I hid behind smiles, let no-one in close,  I laughed with apathy, eyes wide shut.  Lied with my heart, no truth from my lips,  Logical business, feeling with my head.  You smiled at me one too many times,  Fine emotions, locking logic away.  Expose my heart, for you and me alone,  I could fly and soar and no longer hide,  Freedom from my head.
